Pilgrim Primary School Welcomes The Salvation Army to Our Community

We are delighted to announce a special event taking place at Pilgrim Primary School on Friday, 19 September 2025 at 2:40 PM, as we officially welcome The Salvation Army into our school and wider community.

This Welcome Event is a chance for our families, pupils, and neighbours to meet the team from The Salvation Army and connect with other local organisations working to support Plymouth. There will be free food for children, opportunities to speak with community agencies, and a warm, inclusive atmosphere for all.

The Salvation Army will be offering practical care, emotional and spiritual support, and job-readiness training through a community café-style approach. Their Employment Plus programme and Community Builders initiative will be embedded in our local area, helping to build stronger relationships and empower families.

We’re proud to be collaborating with groups such as Transforming Plymouth Together®, Safe Families, Oasis, Dental Plymouth Community Services, and more.
